  • The kind of user data and personally identifiable information that the website collects from you, on what purpose, and whether we share it with third parties
  • The choices are available to you regarding the use of your data
  • The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information
  • How you may access, delete or correct any inaccuracies in the information

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We only have access to and collect information that you decide to share with us via email or other means of explicit consent. We are the only owners of the information collected on charicomm.org and we won’t sell your data to anyone, under any circumstances. We will use your information to process your request.

We strive to constantly improve our website and, of course, to acquire new clients. To monitor the traffic on our website and run better advertisements we use some third-party services (listed below). If you wish to verify what data is tracked on charicomm.org or any other website, you can install a browser add-on Ghostery or Privacy Badger.

Google Analytics

Charicomm uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. Google Analytics stores cookies on your computer and they allow us to analyze the surfing patterns of our visitors. The information generated by the cookie (including your IP address) will be sent to and stored in a Google server in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. If required by law, Google will pass along this information to third parties. Google may also pass along data to third parties for processing on its behalf. Under no circumstances shall Google connect your IP address with any other data it holds. If you wish, you can adjust your browser settings and refuse the cookies. Please keep in mind that if you refuse all cookies, you might not have access to all functions of this website. Click here for more information on how Google handles your personal information.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution operated by Google Inc. that allows marketed website tags to be managed using an interface. The Tag Manager tool implements the tags: it’s a cookie-less domain and does not register personal data. The tool activates other tags that might register data under certain circumstances. Google Tag Manager does not access this information. If a recording has been deactivated on domain or cookie level, this setting will remain in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. Click here for further information.

Google AdWords Conversion

Conversion tracking is a tool that shows us what happens after a customer interacts with our advertisements displayed in the Google Search Results. It allows us to find out when the person who clicked on our purchased one of the services, signed up for our newsletter or a workshop, called us or sent a message via one of our contact forms. This user behavior data is important to us for improving our website and allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertisements. This data is collected exclusively for this purpose and will be under no circumstances associated with any of your personal information.

Google Dynamic Remarketing

Dynamic Remarketing is a practice that allows us to show ads to people who have already visited charicomm.org. For example, if you visited the page showing our AdWords management packages, we might assume that you are interested in such services and show you related ads in the future.

Gravatar

An avatar is an image that represents you online—a little picture that appears next to your name when you interact with websites. A Gravatar is a Globally Recognized Avatar. You upload it and create your profile just once, and then when you participate in any Gravatar-enabled site, your Gravatar image will automatically follow you there. Gravatar works on WordPress.com and charicomm.org is powered by WordPress. This means that if you have a Gravatar account, charicomm.org will know and give you the option to log in into your Gravatar. If you don’t have a Gravatar your information will not be collected.

Your rights regarding your personal data

As a data subject, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectify or erase them at any time. You may also restrict or object to certain kinds of processing of your personal data, including direct marketing. You are not obliged to share your personal data with Charicomm. If you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to process some of your requests and some parts of the website might not load correctly. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Cookies

For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site.
